What payment methods are accepted?

Is it possible to change the currency?

All prices displayed on our online store as well as all prices stated on payments, receipts and invoices are in Euro (EUR/€) and can not be changed. We accept payments only in Euro. If you are paying in another currency, your bank may charge a conversion fee.

After you placed your order we process and dispatch it within 2 working days. The expected delivery time depends on your country of destination and your local postal service.

Each shipment has a tracking number that will be communicated to you by us after your order has been dispatched. With this tracking number you can monitor the status of your shipment on the website of Poste Italiane here.

Do I have to pay import duty or tax?

How can I return a product?

If you are not happy with your order you have 14 days to make a return request. Simply follow these steps to return an order: First, let us know you want to make a return by writing to us at – do this within 14 calendar days of receiving your parcel. Once you’ve informed us, package the items securely. You can return your order using any postal service. Please note that you’ll need to pay for the postage yourself. Remember to ask for proof of purchase from the postal service, to keep a record that the parcel was sent to us. For a refund the items have to be in their original condition, unworn and with original labels and price tags.

How long will it take to be refunded?

Once your returned items have been delivered and approved, you’ll be refunded within 48 hours.

If you have a coupon code you can enter it into the coupon code entry field during checkout. Only one coupon at a time can apply to a single order.

What is vegetable tanned leather and why is Italian leather so famous and considered the best in the world?

That’s because of the way we treat the leather. Instead of tanning it with heavy metals like chrome, aluminum, zirconium or titanium, we use vegetable oil. This process takes way longer than using metals but therefore the leather is of much higher quality, lasts a lot longer and is better for health and the environment. Tuscany is Italy’s capital for leather tanning. You will not find one big tanning company but more specialists, each responsible for one single tanning step only. After the vegetable tanning process the leather is called ‘Cuoio’.

What if I scratch the leather by accident?

Due to the vegetable oil tanning you can simply ‘repair’ the leather by using your own skin oil that your body produces. Carefully rub your finger over the scratch and see how the scratch will slowly disappear, while ‘fake tanned leather’ is only painted and you will have the scratch forever. All this makes Italian leather so special and separates it from the rest.

Are there any care instructions for the leather?

To keep the leather soft we suggest to use a colorless/neutral leather shoe polish that nourishs it while protecting the right humidity.

Is there any difference between Made in Italy and Made in Firenze?

Tuscany, and especially Florence, is the center of Italian leather expertise. All products offered on our online store are by Carlo Carmagnini and 100% Made in Firenze, which makes them even more precious.
